Crucified Truth

Our world is changing so fast. It is not only a technological change. We can change with it but there is an ethical and moral change that is destroying this world. So many people already have been convinced that evil is good and tolerance is more important than love. We are slowly come to the time when being faithful to Christ will cost you a career, family, maybe even your possessions. I recently was asked to watch a short video with Fr. Altman. Here is a link:
It was encouraging to see that there are many priests speaking the truth. There is one point brought by Fr. Altman that pushed me to deep reflection. An evil asked for tolerance but then once it got power there is no tolerance anymore but instead violence. This is one of the most fundamental laws of evil. Satan came to Eve and then to Adam with beautiful temptation, and with a beautiful lie. His encouragement is overwhelming: "you will not die, you will be like God". There is a problem with this statement: actually we will die and we will not be even close to being like God. Satan doesn't share his power. He will eat you, chew you and will spit you out. In the moment he got what he wanted, he will never need you again.
In our time the Truth is crucified again by compromising with the lie of Satan. It also happens in the Holy Mother Church. For decades we have had people who would like to make the Church less holy and less faithful to Jesus Christ. They removed the beautiful hymns that were with us for centuries and replaced them with meaningless songs of worship based on catchy music. They talked about the mercy of God without repentance. They removed the sense of sin from the lives of many generations. They stopped teaching about the Sacraments and the Word of God and turned to preaching about social issues instead. At the end they tried to close the mouth of the Holy Mother Church in the name of human rights.
This next few weeks are going to be very crucial for the Church of Jesus Christ. Pretty soon we will know if we sold Christ for earthly things. We have to remember that after our death Jesus Christ will not ask us about political correctness. He will say "'I tell you, if anyone openly declares himself for me in the presence of human beings, the Son of man will declare himself for him in the presence of God's angels. But anyone who disowns me in the presence of human beings will be disowned in the presence of God's angels." (Lk 12:8-9)
Thank you so much, Father. I, too, miss the old hymns of awe and courage. for instance, “Onward Christian Soldiers”! ❤️
Thank you Father!
Praise God for the return of Courage from the pulpit! Now----we can start to breathe again.
