Family and Society

I don't think there has ever been such an attack on the traditional family as there is now. It seems that everything is done to destroy the meaning of the family. Before I go any farther I will bring you some facts from the past.

After the Soviet revolution in 1917, The Communist Party taught children (komsomol) to denounce on their parents if they did not agree with the political line. After Hitler got power in 1936 he took over the children (hitlerjugend) teaching them to be loyal members of the Nationalist Party and denounce their parents if they didn't agree with the political view of the party. In both cases the political leader knew that if they got the children and teens on their side all families would become obedient to the system. In some cases it was forced on the small groups to make them obedient and dependable.

In both cases the political systems had one goal: to destroy the family and make everybody dependant on the system. It is more or less the situation we have right now in the USA. It has not gone that far yet, but we will get there. The liberal and politicly correct systems are already teaching children, teens and college students what to think and how to reject the traditional understanding of the family. Two words slowly are rejected and replaced: a mother and a father. Instead we have parent 1 and parent 2 or even a parent 3. A new model of the family is pushed as a new order of our society. I believe the next step will be teaching our children how to denounce their parents if they do not agree with the politicly correct opinion.

And here is another problem - the Catholic Church stands in the way. I believe the Catholic Church is the last Christian denomination that hasn't accepted this entire "new world model". Unfortunately even in the Church there are some groups that would like to change the teaching on the family.

You are probably asking why somebody would want to destroy the family. The answer is very simple. Strong family means strong society. Families united and working together are the strongest force that can destroy the most powerful political system. Are you looking for proof? Look at Poland and everything that happened between 1956 and 1989. Strong families said "no" to communism. I have to say more; strong wives and mothers were able to support fighting husbands and to keep families together. Very often their strong characters kept the entire family in discipline and order. Strong wives and mothers kept the faith alive, supported their husbands in the most difficult times. At the same time husbands and fathers were not afraid to say to their own children what matters in life the most. They very often took their children to do some physical work so that children would learn how to sacrifice themselves for things that matters.

I think it is time that we will bring those elements back to our society and to our families. If parents will not teach children the real values of life then the system will teach the values that are serving the system. Strong family means strong country. Strong families means strong America.
