Forgivness

This year will not last much longer. In just a few more days it will be gone. It was definitely one of the most confusing and fearful years. We have a virus, then lockdowns, then the election and so many other things in between.

As we approach Christmas it is worthy to close some doors. There is a temptation to carry all our grudges and sorrows but those will only slow us down. Our past cannot be changed but our future is about to come.

We cannot fool ourselves that next year is going to be wonderful and great. There will be new challenges, new disappointments; we will lose some more friends or family members. Even so, this is not the time to sit and cry. To really prepare ourselves for the next year, we have to forgive each other. Forgiveness is the key to everything. It opens our eyes and heart to new perspectives and it directs us to new solutions. Forgiveness helps us to change ourselves and be better next time.

If you have a hard time forgiving, then think about yourself and ask how many times you have done something against God. Did he said to you "no, I won't forgive you anymore"?

This world wants you to be angry and frustrated. It is the easiest way to control you. When you are a prisoner of your emotions, you are not able to make good decisions. It is when you are free from your emotions that you can see the truth and follow it.

So, forgive your enemies today. Make yourself free from the past that cannot be changed and go ahead with internal freedom. This world as we know it is passing away.
