The closer we are to the day of the election the more confusing the news is. Mathematically we come to the point where both sides are talking about the majority and this is even more confusing. The majority means more than 50%. If two opinions have the majority then all together it would have to be more than 100%.
I stopped believing in any polls a long time ago but I still believe in logic. This part of knowledge is present in every single piece of our lives, in our faith and in our relationships.
So let’s look at the minority vs. majority. When Jesus Christ sent his Holy Spirit upon his Apostles all of them together were definitely a really small minority. Just 11 and later on with Mathias 12 men meant nothing among a large number of Jews and Romans. But this small group was so powerful in faith and grace that 300 years later Christians became free to believe and publicly worship Jesus Christ. They didn’t do it by violence, burning down others' property, calling names, blocking roads, etc. They did it through the celebration of the Most Holy Mass and the other sacraments, with their deep faith, by works of charity, by testifying the truth of the Gospel, by forgiving their enemies. It was a paradox of this minority. They started with a few but they overwhelmed others with their love coming from God.
Today we see another paradox. It is completely different. It is not overwhelming with love but rather with hate. Many minorities are forcing ideas using violence and hatred. They hide themselves behind the backs of others. They have slogans of mercy but they do not practice mercy. And at the end they do not care for the people that they claim to protect.
Right now the Polish Supreme Court is looking at the abortion law. They want to put more restrictions on this law. Of course the media super stars are in tears because they rightshave " and freedom." Unfortunately this time they do not fight for minorities. Actually they want to get rid of those minorities.
I think that the last 50 years showed the truth about the fallacies, narratives, and misleading compassion pushed by the media and the pro-abortion faction. I also believe that abortion destroyed the beauty and dignity of our existence. Any beautiful idea about a society, if it is missing respect for unborn life, sooner or later becomes an oppressive system that will not care about my or your life either.
I wish all earthly super stars would remember that their fame will be gone second after their death.
