Natural Order

The last few decades have shaken this world very much. Many traditional elements of our society have been rejected and replaced by new ideas. I can even say that referring to tradition seems to be a sign of the past that should be forgotten. Of course it happens because of the pride of our society. We know better how to reform the family, how to share the wealth and what our gender is. Yes, we are so good in making a new world.

Unfortunately it seems that we are not getting any better. More broken families, more suicides, more people demanding things for free without any effort to work (there are exceptions). Actually I can see more and more some type of frustration growing in our society. Our small places in the mountain still have some "old style" life but big cities are experiencing more violence and more nihilism.

There is some wisdom in the natural order of all living creatures. It applies to people too. Certain elements are necessary for us to be joyful and to have hope. I wrote about it before. We need to work. Our work is one of the most important elements of spiritual balance. By working we fulfill ourselves. Unfortunately many people do not want to work because it is easier to get things for free. They do not understand that by rejecting our natural vocation to work, they actually are rejecting themselves.

We have to believe. Faith is a very important part of who we are. It opens us up to transcendent reality and leads us to something bigger and better than us. Our new society wants to get rid of faith and at the same time replace it with "faith in ourselves." But the truth is we cannot be teachers and students of life at the same time.

We need families with a mother and a father in it. Each one of us learns from both of them how to love man and woman and how to respect each one of them with a healthy relationship. It is sad that most of our children at school do not have both biological parents at home. They are lost and confused, and some day in the future they will have a hard time making their own healthy family.

Of course there are many more elements of the natural order that we should protect. I have chosen these three because they seem to be the base of everything.
