Short memory

I believe everyone remembers the headlines of the main stream media about children on the border being kept in cages. Our loud politicians were crying about the violence agains human rights. Apparently the same politicians have very short memories and they seem to be ignoring what is going on right now on the southern border of the USA. Don't worry, I am not going to talk about them because they never tell the truth so talking about them is just a waste of time.

There is something much more disturbing about this entire situation and it gives me a question. Why in our modern world do we use children as a political and social weapon? This is not only in the USA. This problem exists everywhere.

For some reason this world wants to destroy the next generation. By this world I mean a group of people that is looking for chaos and division, because only in this way will they be able to control others. I have seen over the last few decades that the more we fight for justice the less justice we have, the more we fight for human rights the less rights we have, the more we fight poverty the more poverty we have. It seems that all those great new ideas claiming to be so great actually from the very beginning are against us. And I am not surprised. The more we remove God from our society the more violence and abuse we have in it.

Satan lies all the time. With wonderful utopian ideas he brings the darkness of his hate. Just a hundred years ago people were able to help each other without any special encouragement. Today we have to create all sorts of support groups because otherwise people will not see others in need. We are lucky because in some spaces we still have people ready to help.

Our society is suffering from a serious illness of short memory. The imprint of the headlines in many brains replaced skills of memorizing the facts and putting them together. This is very unfortunate because this mechanism cannot be used in the faith. There are no headlines. There are facts. Maybe this is the reason why so many young people reject faith - they would have to follow facts, leaving all their messed up emotions behind. It is worthy to remember the past just to make a better future. It is worthy to believe in God just to know what decision to make in the future.
