The upside down world of ours

As we all know, the Bible is not separated from the reality of life. Actually, it is the best "guide book" we have. So let's look at the last few events from this perspective.

"But anyone who is the downfall of one of these little ones who have faith in me would be better drowned in the depths of the sea with a great millstone round his neck." (Mt 18:6)

Mr. Zuckerberg, I have a question for you. For years you've held yourself as a beacon of righteousness, even going as far as banning a president of the USA from facebook. But when it comes to children you are perfectly fine with allowing children to be effected by sexual and mental evil in the name of freedom. Apparently it is not a problem for you as long as the money comes to your pocket. I encourage you to read this passage of the Gospel because you will not have a second chance when the time comes to leave the world.

"We urged you when we were with you not to let anyone eat who refused to work." (2 Thessalonians 3:10)

I am amazed how in eight months we were able to solve the problem of unemployment. Almost every business is looking for workers and yet, there is nobody available. So I guess the unemployment rate right now is 0%. But I couldn't be more wrong. This year I count as one of the most morally destructive times in the last decade. As people we are called to work and to share our gifts, but through different acts of work. Through it we are partners with God in the co-creation of the world. I can say more. Because of work we can reflect the loving act of creation. This makes us better in our own understanding. With the exception of those that cannot work because of health, family duties and other very rare circumstances, each one of us must work. Unfortunately, our leaders believe that it is better to punish workers with inflation and to support those that do not want to work. Kill a virtue and feed a sin. This is not rocket science. Whoever promotes a sin does not come from God, rather comes from Satan.

"Many false prophets will arise; they will deceive many, and with the increase of lawlessness, love in most people will grow cold; but anyone who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Mt 24:11-13)

And here we have a new savior. Gov. Hochul is our new voice of God - "God wants you to get vaccinated". "I need you to be my apostles, I need you to go out and talk about it and say, we owe this to each other. We love each other. Jesus taught us to love one another. and how do you show that love, but to care about each other enough to say, please get vaccinated because I love you. I want you to live." It amazes me that all those wonderful governors never mention the entire Commandments. "You shall love your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all mind, ... You must love your neighbor as yourself."

Here is a contradiction. So what had happened to "My body, my choice"? How much Planned Parenthood is reflecting this wonderful idea "because I love you. I want you to live"?

Vaccination is a private choice that is based on a decision of a person alone. Abortion is a choice made by a person over the life of the other person. But apparently in this case the Commandment of Love doesn't matter. According to statistics in 2017, 862,230 children were aborted. Since March 1st until now COVID caused death of around 800,000 people. We still have to remember that if somebody was dying from cancer but had COVID, that person was declared as a COVID victim. Of course we have to remember that death is to many easier to be accepted by the family if it happened because of illness or car accident or anything else.

It is always painful and leaves us in sorrow. Therefore using this emotional aspect of our life as a tool to manipulate us is morally wrong. I have friends that lost their loved once last year because of COVID and because of cancer. Neither of them had an easy time. The point is that Gov. Hochul very selectively uses the words of the Gospel just to prove herself.

Ok, this is it for today. You can agree with me or disagree but definitely things are going wrong and we have to work on making our towns and homes better. This can only happen if we will follow the truth coming from Jesus Christ.
